The decision to create her own jewelry brand came to Lisa Sadughi after the jewelry she created for the J.Crew brand increasingly appeared on the pages of famous fashion magazines. Lisa created jewelry for the J.Crew brand for 5 years, starting in 2006. The designer brand Lele Sadoughi was created in 2012 designer jewelry immediately debuted on Moda Operandi.

Lele’s passion for jewelry was fostered during her tenure at Ippolita in 2005, where she worked on designing personal labels for Neiman Marcus, Banana Republic and Club Monaco. In 2006, Lele signed an agreement with J.Crew to create her first jewelry collection.
