Blair Delmonico is a label created by designer David Salvatore. He established the line alongside his mother, Blair, who spent her early career modeling for Bonwit Teller, the premier and most opulent New York department store of the 20th century (1895–1990). Initially, the brand’s pieces were distributed through large department stores and exclusive boutiques, before eventually appearing on the QVC home shopping network. According to Salvatore, costume jewelry “ought to evoke fantasy and style, rather than mimic high-end gems.” The brand was renowned for its striking, original designs, celebrated for their vibrant hues and luminous finish.
