While stationed in Egypt, he discovered his father’s archive of animal and bird sketches. These illustrations inspired the creation of numerous brooches and signature pieces that have brought the global brand renown ever since. They achieved widespread fame in the 1950s, as fresh varieties and styles were continually introduced to the collection.
